Dr Cheong Lai Leng is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), in 1985. She then obtained her
Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore and Membership of the Royal
College of Physicians (United Kingdom).
Dr Cheong completed her residency training in dermatology at the National Skin Centre, Singapore, in 1993. Her
subspecialty training in the field of Dermatologic Surgery was undertaken at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation at
Cleveland, Ohio, USA, in 1994-95. Dr Cheong was conferred fellowship of the Academy of Medicine (Dermatology),
Singapore in 1996 and obtained accreditation as a dermatologist by the Ministry of Health, Singapore.
