Background

Dr Fok is a well-trained plastic surgeon with a highly credentialed education in cosmetic and plastic surgery. He graduated in 1981 from the National University of Singapore and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh in 1987. Dr Fok has undergone his advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Adelaide, Australia. In Adelaide, he worked at The Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Children’s Hospital and the world renowned Australian Cranio-facial Unit. This was followed by further specialized training in the renowned Mount Vernon Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London.

Dr Fok is an Accredited Specialist Plastic Surgeon in the Singapore Medical Council Specialist Register; a Member of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons, Singapore Society of Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Surgery and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr Fok has been practising as a plastic surgeon for more than 20 years. His practice focuses mainly on cosmetic surgery with special interest in facial aesthetics and breast surgery. He recognizes the decision to consider cosmetic surgery is an elective choice and therefore he gives his patients the knowledge as well as information necessary for decision making and his best surgical experience to achieve individual aesthetics goals.

Achievements

Presently, Dr Fok also serves as the National Secretary of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is a member of the National Panel of Experts at the Subordinate Court Mediation Centre.
