Dr. Adrian Siew Ming Saurajen is a fully accredited Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon. He is a graduate from the University of Sydney and had worked in Australia before furthering his training in Singapore, the United Kingdom and United States. He is a Fellow of several surgical Colleges including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, Singapore Academy of Medicine and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Apart from general ENT, he has special interests in Paediatric ENT, Rhinology, Allergy and Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and Sleep Medicine. He has a Postgraduate Fellowship in Sleep Mediciine and Surgeyr and is only one of the only handful surgeons worldwide who has a Masters of Medicine in Sleep Medicine.
He is also one of the more innovative surgeons in the region and was first in Asia to perform several surgeries including the Balloon Sinuplasty for Sinus conditions. This is a minimally invasive procedure in which a balloon is inserted into the sinus openings and then dilated to open the sinuses. At the present time, he as the largest series of balloon sinuplasty in Asia.
He is also amongst the first in Asia to perform several complex snoring surgeries including palatal advancement pharyngoplasty, the repose suture surgery for the tongue base, the coblation-aassisted pharyngoplasty amongst others.
His interests are also in minimally invasive surgeries in reshaping the upper airway including minimally invasive tongue base and lingual tonsillar reduction.
