Dr. Ng Peng Soon

Dr. Ng Peng Soon is a Neurologist with Neurology Care Partners at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

Dr. Ng obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the National University of Singapore in 2005, Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2010, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2022.

He was trained in Neurology and Neurophysiology at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), Singapore from 2010 to 2013. He is a certified electroencephalographer by the Asian Epilepsy Academy since 2014. In 2017, he completed fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disorders (Nerve) at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA.

Prior to his current appointment as a Neurologist at Neurology Care Partners, Dr. Ng held the position of Senior Consultant Neurologist in NNI, Singapore. His various clinical responsibilities included performing and reporting nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG), reporting electroencephalogram (EEG), autonomic function test (AFT) and nerve biopsy.

As an educator, Dr. Ng was a core faculty member of the neurology senior residency program, adjunct assistant professor with Duke-NUS medical school and a speaker at the 5^th and 6^th NNI EEG-EMG-AFT neuromuscular workshops.

His clinical expertise is in the management of neuromuscular disorders in particular immune mediated disorders such as chronic inflammatory demyelinating peripheral neuropathy, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis and myositis.
