Background

Dr Yegappan is a practising orthopaedic consultant at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He is a specialist in orthopaedic sports medicine and does mainly arthroscopic reconstructive surgery of the knee and the shoulder.

Dr Yegappan has treated cartilage with both the first and second generation techniques of chondrocycte implantation. In addition, he also has a special interest in the management of multiple ligament injuries of the knee and knee dislocation.
