Dr Brian Lee is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. He graduated from the Medical Faculty at the National University of Singapore in 1986 and obtained Post-Graduate Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow (FRCS Ed, FRCS Glasg) in 1990 and Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Lee received orthopaedic sub-speciality training at the Mayo Clinic, USA and became the 1st Mark B Coventry Reconstructive Fellow at the Mayo Clinic in 1995.

Dr Lee specializes in Joint Replacement and Reconstructive Surgery of the hip, knee, elbow and shoulder, including complicated joint replacement and ligament reconstruction. His expertise includes minimally invasive unicompartmental knee replacement, use of computer navigation and patient specific instrumentation (PSI) and arthroscopic surgery.

Dr Lee has served on the Medical Advisory Board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital and is the current Chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Speciality Group at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

He is also active as an international speaker in orthopaedic conferences, courses and meetings and has been on the faculty of many international meetings and courses in the region. He has published numerous research papers and authored 5 book chapters on orthopaedic surgery. Dr Lee also serves as a reviewer in several orthopaedic journals.
