Advanced Vascular & Endovascular Clinic provides subspecialty care for Vascular Surgery and General Surgery at the premiere Specialist centre in Singapore, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. Patients can see Dr. Wang in consultation by referral and appointments, or walk-ins (subjected to availability). Our clinic emphasizes quick turnaround time for referral-to-consultation, and short waiting times to be seen in the clinic. Minor surgery can be performed in the clinic Procedure Room, as with wound care and dressing changes. Point of care testing such as focused Doppler ultrasound scan imaging and non-invasive vascular laboratory tests (Ankle-Brachial Indices, Pulse Volume Recording, etc.) are available in clinic.

Dr John Wang is a Vascular/Endovascular Surgeon and General Surgeon at all the major private hospitals in Singapore. His areas of interests are in vascular surgery and endovascular surgery (minimally invasive) and is
up-to-date with the latest cutting-edge vascular therapy available locally and internationally.

He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with honours and pursued an MSc. in Clinical Anatomy and Anthropology at the National University of Ireland, Dublin.

He moved trans-Atlantic for General Surgery Residency training and subsequently, a Vascular Surgery Fellowship, at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. He is double-boarded in General and Vascular surgery
by the American Board of Surgery, since 2008 and 2011, respectively.

He was formerly a Senior Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital, where he practised the full spectrum of vascular and endovascular surgery for 5 years. Prior to this, he was in practice as Attending Vascular Surgeon at University Hospital Case Medical Center, Cleveland, for 5 years before to moving to Singapore. Dr Wang served as the Associate Programme Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and initiated the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Program Director.

He has published extensively in local and international journals such as Journal of Vascular Surgery, European Journal of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, and British Journal of Surgery.

Dr Wang has received numerous awards including the Charles Guthrie Award, Alex Chao MD – Young Investigator Award, DVVS Best Basic Research, DVVS Best Clinical Research, and multiple Residency in
SingHealth Excels (RiSE) for Outstanding Faculty Awards.

Dr. Wang is headquartered at Mount Elizabeth Medical Center, #16-10, at his main clinic: Advanced Vascular & Endovascular Clinic. He can also see patients at the other major private hospitals including: Mount Elizabeth Novena Medical Centre, Gleneagles Medical Centre, Parkway East Medical Centre, and Farrer Park Medical Centre.

Dr. Wang has clinical privileges and can see inpatients at all Parkway Hospitals (Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, Parkway East Hospital), Mount Alvernia Hospital, and Farrer Park Hospital. Our staff will be happy to assist you or your patients who may have vascular issues that require attention.
