Certified minor operating theatre facilities, Colposcopy and LEEP and electro cautery facilities. For pre cancers of the cervix : LEEP and laser surgery for cervical dysplasias. Endoscopic procedures such as diagnostic video hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic procedures, trans cervical resection of uterine fibroids and polyps. Laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and ovarian cysts and fibroids. Vaginal hysterectomy: Hysterectomy performed vaginally and there is no abdominal incisions. Patients who are suitable for vaginal hysterectomy include those with genital prolapse, fibroids and menorrhagia. Vaginal repairs and vaginal reconstruction for lax vagina, genital prolapse and urinary incontinence. Vaginal surgery is unique as there is no abdominal incisions and the entire surgery is performed from the vagina. As there is no surgical wound in the abdomen, this surgical technique has minimal discomfort. Once the patient has recovered from the effects of anaesthesia, the Laparoscopic surgery or key hole surgery uses small incisions in the abdomen. There is some post operative pain but the recovery period is shorter as compared to conventional surgery.
