H K Tan surgery has been in Mt. Elizabeth Medical Centre since 1983, conveniently located in Orchard Road. The clinic is tastefully furnished and well equipped with some of the latest equipment especially in lasers.

Dr Tan is a specialist surgeon graduating from the then University of Singapore with a MBBS in 1971. He became a specialist surgeon in 1976 and has been in practice in Mt Elizabeth since 1983. He has been involved in General and Aesthetic Surgery since becoming a specialist surgeon and has spent time in Tokyo, United Kingdom and US on training courses.

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow was conferred on him in 1975 and he was recognised as a Specialist Surgeon by the Academy of Medicine Singapore and by the Singapore Medical Council in 1978. He has been a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery since 2003.
