My area of specialization is advanced internal medicine which includes Acute and General Medicine. I know how to treat various internal medicine problems and when to refer to a specialist. By doing postgraduate and specialized training in acute and internal medicine, it gives expertise regarding holistic adult and elderly patient care who has multiple complex medical problems. It is a broad-spectrum specialty with deeper knowledge of various internal medicine specialties and huge future scope. It includes acute care as well as chronic disease management.
