With many years of experience under his belt, Dr Lee specialises in liver and pancreas cancer surgery. He is also
skilled in performing minimally invasive (key hole) surgeries for gallbladder, appendix and colon. Dr Lee is described
as many to be empathetic and pleasant, and constantly seeks to provide the best quality of care to his patients.

Dr Lee was the founding Head of Division of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery and Consultant General Surgeon,
Juronghealth Campus, National University Health System (NUHS). He was instrumental in building up the unit to
provide comprehensive general surgical and complex Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary services. He was also a Visiting
Consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH).

Dr Lee frequently visits the centre of excellence in Laparoscopic and Hepato-Pancreatic & Biliary (HPB) surgeries in
Taiwan, Korea and Japan to keep updated with recent advancements in surgeries and to exchange ideas with
renowned experts.

An active educator, he is a clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore (NUS)
and a constant examiner for medical students in the MBBS examinations. He often lectures in local and regional
courses on medical and nursing education.
