Dr. Tu Tian Ming

Dr. Tu Tian Ming is a Neurologist practicing at Neurology Care Partners located at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Singapore. His clinical interest is in acute ischemic stroke, in particular, hyperacute stroke care. Dr. Tu is also proficient in managing a wide variety of neurological conditions, including headache, Parkinson’s disease, memory issues, numbness and giddiness.

Dr. Tu completed his medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005, obtained his membership with the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2010 and completed his neurology advanced specialist training at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) – Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) Campus in 2014. Additionally, Dr. Tu has also completed a Masters in Clinical Investigation (MCI) at NUS in 2015 as well as an overseas fellowship at Duke University, USA, in 2016. Both were funded and supported by the National Medical Research Council of Singapore. He is currently a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (FRCP) since 2022.

Dr. Tu Tian Ming was a practicing neurologist at NNI-TTSH Campus from 2014 to 2022, where he most recently held the position of Senior Consultant. He was also a visiting consultant at Changi General Hospital (CGH) from 2017 to 2022, of which he held various leadership positions, such as the Head of Division of Neurology at CGH in 2019 and co-chair of the CGH hospital Stroke Committee from 2017 to 2019. In the education realm, he was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education as an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, clinical senior lecturer for undergraduates at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, clinical teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, core-faculty of the Singhealth senior residency training program.

Dr. Tu Tian Ming has been awarded multiple accolades during public service, such as the NNI Service Star awards in 2021, and NUS Dean’s award for teaching excellence in 2022. He also held grant funded research awards such as the Nurturing Clinician Scientist Scheme in 2017 and Learning technology and Adoption grant in 2019. He currently has co-authored 40 peer-reviewed research academic publications.
